What is Private Reps?
Private Reps is a platform that connects baseball players with expert coaches for professional video evaluation analysis. Upload your swing or pitching videos and get detailed analysis with AI-powered pose detection, frame-by-frame breakdowns, and personalized coaching.
How many videos can I upload per session?
You can upload up to 3 video clips per feedback session. We recommend uploading different angles to give your coach a complete picture of your mechanics. Use a tripod with mount (suggested link).
How long does it take to get evaluation?
Coaches have 48 hours to complete your video analysis. Most coaches deliver evaluation within 24-36 hours. You'll receive an email notification when your analysis is ready.
What's included in the video analysis?
Your coach will provide: freeze frames with annotations (circles, arrows, text), AI pose detection with joint angles, side-by-side frame comparisons, audio evaluation per section (greeting, setup, load, launch, swing path, recommendations), personalized drill recommendations with video links, and direct messaging for follow-up questions.
How much does it cost?
Pricing varies by coach, typically ranging from $30-$75 per session. Each session includes analysis of up to 3 videos. You only pay once per session, with no subscription fees or hidden costs.
Can I message my coach?
Yes! Once you hire a coach, you can message them directly through the platform. This is great for asking follow-up questions or clarifying evaluation.
What video format should I use?
We accept all common video formats (MP4, MOV, AVI, etc.). Videos are automatically compressed for optimal playback. For best results, film from a side angle at hip height, 10-15 feet away. Make sure the entire swing/pitch is visible in the frame.
What if I'm not satisfied with the evaluation?
All our coaches are vetted professionals with proven track records. If you have concerns about your evaluation, contact us within 7 days and we'll work to make it right, including potential refunds or reassignments.
Can I hire the same coach again?
Absolutely! Many players work with the same coach over time to track progress. You can easily rehire any coach from your dashboard.
Do I need any special equipment?
No special equipment needed! Just a smartphone or camera to record your videos. The analysis happens entirely in your web browser - no downloads or apps required.
